KSS Adoptees ONLY - REMINDER: How To Request ADDITIONAL Documents From KSS! 

*AN IMPORTANT REMINDER about STEP 7 of the KSS birth family search process! 

*You have limited time to get documents directly from KSS before ALL KSS files move to the Korean Government Agency NCRC starting in July 2025!

You can obtain more documents from KSS after you have received your "KOREAN Adoptive Child Study Summary"! 

*Please note that this assumes you have already completed STEPS 1-5 of the KSS birth family search process!

AFTER you have received a response from KSS fulfilling your FIRST official request to them (submitting your Application and Petition forms and photo ID, and requesting a birth family search AND your "KOREAN Adoptive Child Study Summary) - you can RE-SUBMIT the Application and Petition forms, only this time, request a DIFFERENT type of form next to OPTION D on the Application form. 

You can only request ONE document at a time this way. You have to wait to receive the document you requested, then RE-SUBMIT the Application and Petition forms AGAIN, this time with a NEW document type that you would like to request written next to Option D.

Keep your completed KSS Application and Petition forms on your computer. Just change the document type you want to request next to Option D each time that you submit the forms.
