KSS (Korea Social Service) Adoptees MUST ACT NOW To Request BOTH A Birth Family Search AND Their Formerly Secret “KOREAN Adoptive Child Study Summary”!

We have been saying this for a solid year:
KSS (Korea Social Service) Adoptees with ANY interest in requesting BOTH a birth family search AND their formerly secret “KOREAN Adoptive Child Study Summary” MUST SUBMIT THEIR REQUESTS TO KSS BY EARLY 2025!!!
WE ARE NOW IN THE LAST MOMENTS OF BEING ABLE TO SUBMIT REQUESTS TO KSS BEFORE ALL KOREAN ADOPTION AGENCY FILES - INCLUDING KSS FILES - MOVE TO THE KOREAN GOVERNMENT AGENCY NCRC (National Center for the Rights of the Child).
NCRC has had issues for YEARS and has recently been EXPOSED for its MASSIVE MISHANDLING OF ADOPTION RELATED DOCUMENTS FROM KOREAN ORPHANAGES.

WE CANNOT MORE STRONGLY RECOMMEND THAT KSS ADOPTEES SUBMIT THEIR REQUESTS TO KSS BY EARLY 2025, BEFORE ALL KSS FILES MOVE TO NCRC!!!

PLEASE NOTE: You are NOT a KSS (Korea Social Service) Adoptee if your Korean Adoption Agency was one of the following OTHER Korean Adoption Agencies:
-HOLT Korea
-Eastern Social Welfare Society / ESWS (formerly Eastern Child Welfare Society / ECWS )
-Korea Welfare Society / KWS (formerly SWS)
PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT KSS IF KSS WAS NOT YOUR KOREAN ADOPTION AGENCY! Please do not waste the VERY LIMITED RESOURCES of KSS!!!

*Please note that if you have NOT followed our procedure since mid-2021, that you will NOT likely have the formerly secret “KOREAN Adoptive Child Study Summary”. KSS did NOT regularly provide this document for Adoptees until mid-2021, and you have to SPECIFICALLY request it using KSS’ forms.
While KSS Adoptees commonly have the “ENGLISH Adoptive Child Study Summary”, they are NOT likely to have the “KOREAN Adoptive Child Study Summary”. See examples of these documents below:
